- Beer conditions the hair

- For shiny hair - use brewed tea.
- Sunburn relief- empty a large jar of instant tea into your bath water
- Minor burn - plain white toothpaste
- Burn your tongue? Put sugar on it!
- Arthritis? Lubricating spray oil, ( such as W-D ) - Spray and rub in - kills insect stings too
- Bee stings - meat tenderizer
- Chigger bites and Puffy eyes - hemorrhoid cream
- Paper cut - crazy glue or chap stick
- Stinky feet - gelatin
- Athletes feet - cornstarch
- Fungus on toenails or fingernails - mentholated vapor rub
- Powdered drink mix, ( such as Kool-Aid ) to clean dishwasher pipes. Just put it in the
detergent section and run a cycle - can also tie-dye a t-shirt...mix a solution of drink
powder into a container, tie a rubber band around a section of the t-shirt and soak -
can also be used as a dye in paint - also use as body paint...heat the lard in the
microwave and pour into an empty film container. Mix in food color of your choice
- Peanut butter - will get scratches out of cd's! Wipe off with a coffee filter paper - will
remove ink from the face of dolls - Removes labels off glassware etc.
- Non-stick cooking spray - sticking bicycle chain - will also remove paint and grease
from your hands! Keep a can in your garage for your hubby.
- If doll clothes are hard to put on, sprinkle with corn starch and watch them slide on
- Heavy dandruff - pour on the vinegar !
- Body paint - Cooking shortening mixed with food coloring. Heat the lard in the
microwave, pour into empty film container and mix with food color of your choice!
- Preserving a newspaper clipping - large bottle of club soda and cup of milk of
magnesia, soak for 20 min.and let dry...will last for many years!
- A slinky will hold toast and cd's
- To keep goggles and glasses from fogging, coat with plain toothpaste.
- Wine stains- pour on the salt and watch it absorb into the salt.
- To remove wax - iron a paper towel over the wax stain, it will absorb the wax
- Baked on food - fill container with water and fabric softener sheet. The static from
the sheet will cause the baked on food to adhere to it. Soak overnight. You can also
use 2 denture tablets...soak overnight!
- Crayon on the wall or stains on clothes- use plain toothpaste and brush
- Dirty grout - antiseptic mouth wash
- Grass stains - Corn syrup
- Grease Stains - Cola. Will also remove grease stains from the driveway overnight.
We know it will take corrosion from car batteries!
- Fleas in your carpet? Borax! - Sprinkle and let stand for 24 hours
- To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer - add a little bleach, or 2 aspirin
